Describe your desk
Ha ha I do not have a desk I have a settee which I mount my laptop on my lap.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
My writing is all about me growing up and the abuse and suffering I experienced and just wanted to share my life with others who are going through the same thing as me.
When did you first start writing?
A few weeks ago
What's the story behind your latest book?
It is just all the things that have happened to me and also trying to understand why it happened to me
What motivated you to become an indie author?
Recent television and news coverage motivated me because seeing how brave others have been in coming forward I thought I should too.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Well it is early days but so far all has been free and that helps alot plus it is really easy to set up
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
It is being able to tell my story and lighten the load and has helped me to relax a little knowing maybe others will read my story
What do your fans mean to you?
I dont have any fans apart from my partner and children
What are you working on next?
I am working on part 2 where my life seems to just get worse and worse for a considerable amount of time
Who are your favorite authors?
Tom Clancy who has sadly passed away. Conn Iggulden, Patricia Cornwell. Anything factual and historical I love reading too
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
My children that question is easy
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I travel a fair bit and have recently been to Rome and also have had my first experience of glamping which was great fun
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
usually through Kindle
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes it is this one I have just released
What is your writing process?
I write as I think word for word as it the memory comes in to my head and keep writing until I get moaned at
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
That has to be the bible and the influence on me was massive how one person sacrificed all for us
How do you approach cover design?
I didnt I kind of just uploaded a picture of me and made it black and white
What do you read for pleasure?
Any factual historical books especially relating to England and the amazing royal family we have
