Interview with Sean Weisbrot

What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Every day is a new chance to make people's lives better.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I love writing because it allows me to completely express myself in a way that speaking sometimes can't. It also allows me to share my knowledge and experiences with others in the hopes of helping them come to a deeper and clearer understanding of themselves and the world they live in.
What is your writing process?
First, I get inspired by an idea I can share. Second, I'll create the outline in my head. Then, I'll write out the central ideas as individual sentences. Next, I'll start writing and fill it all in, and go over it several times until it sounds great.
What do your fans mean to you?
I don't write for myself, I write for others, so if no one reads it, then it's a failure.
What are you working on next?
I've written a few non-fiction books over the last year, so I feel it's time to get back into the fiction works I started many years ago and never completed (believe me, fiction is much harder than non-fiction).
Who are your favorite authors?
Jeffrey Archer
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
I built a community around an idea, then wrote a book for the community. That makes it much easier to sell!
