Right now, writing is just a hobby, and my career comes first. I don't know if I'll ever be ready or good enough to turn writing into a viable career. Self-publishing is really the only way for me even try to be an author right now.
Describe your desk
Let's see, I've got about three dirty coffee mugs, a few unfinished sketches of characters (it helps me better envision them), my keys, my phone, my Keurig, last year's calendar, several lipsticks in various shades, and a thrift store lamp.
What do you read for pleasure?
It's so cliché, but I read way too much Cosmo. I don't have the time or patience for books anymore, which probably explains why creating a novel has been such an excruciating process. The majority of my reading comes from mags like Cosmo, horoscopes, YouTube comments, and ingredient labels. Not very highbrow stuff, I know.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
My phone. I don't take reading seriously enough to devote a separate device to it.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Cameron's vanilla hazelnut K-cups. Easy question.
