Interview with Kenneth Porter

What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Since this is my first experience with writing a book, it has to be the sense of accomplishment!
What do your fans mean to you?
Fans are the absolute affirmation that your content provides purpose and value. Thank you to all my fans, clients, support team and family ~ your the best!
What are you working on next?
At the moment, I am enjoying the success of my first book and supporting information. As a matter of fact, I do have an online membership community that compliments my book. Please take a look, maybe you will want to join www.theblackboxsociety.net

I do have a book idea in the works, but would rather keep it under wraps until I am a little further along in the publishing process. Stay connected for the latest updates at www.theblackboxsociety.net
Who are your favorite authors?
I would have to say my favorite authors are Jack Canfield and Paulo Coelho.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Knowing that I have the power to make a difference in someone's life each and every day. However, I do get inspiration and energy from sleeping in every so often - recharging the batteries with some extended "shut eye" I believe helps you clarify your purpose and vision for what you want out of life.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Most of my time professionally is spent working with clients helping them to discover their own positive money philosophy and maximizing their own billionaire within. When I am not in work mode, you can find me with my beautiful wife of 22 years, chauffeuring for the kids or coaching basketball.
What is your writing process?
My writing process is a little unorthodox. I tend to write down ideas, and thoughts in a journal or notes on my computer. After I have an idea I then start to formulate an outline, however my outline may change a few dozen times even after I start writing. I would guess that my style will change as I begin to write more in the future. I am excited to learn more about becoming an expert writer. Its definitely not natural for me - I have to work hard at it!
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
Being that I am a preacher's kid. It has to be the story of God's son, Jesus Christ being sent to earth to become the "sacrificial lamb" for all the world so that we could have eternal life.
How do you approach cover design?
My approach for this cover design was to give readers a visual introduction to me and my personal brand.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I am an apple ipad fan first and foremost, but I have to say I enjoyed using my mother-in-laws kindle fire. I don't think you can go wrong either way.
Describe your desk
My desk looks like a hurricane has come through the room while I am in work mode, but I definitely insist on a tidy desk before I leave for the day. It has to be orderly when I return to the desk or I easily become distracted.
