For my audience, Facebook has provided the best means of targeting my audience
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in a small town in Western Wisconsin, on a small hobby farm. Many of the experiences I document on my blog and in the book Filling The Pig are based on the experiences I had
When did you first start writing?
About a year ago after I left my corporate job.
What's the story behind your latest book?
I love to talk about personal and business finance. I wrote Filling The Pig as a means to teach others how to manage their personal finances. I have been very fortunate in my life and wanted to provide a means of sharing and hopefully helping others.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The ability to help others.
What are you working on next?
The second book in the series Filling The Pig. Filling The Pig More Cash
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Writing, and working on my personal finance blog.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I spend a lot of time on the family farm, taking care of three goats and a dog.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes, it was a book report for one of my high school English classes. The report/story was based on a book called The 13th Valley
