I'm an avid reader. I've read hundreds and hundreds of books and always admired and envied the authors and their skills. So, I decided that it was about time I put my passion to work. I've always loved to write and started writing poetry in my early teens. It brought me a lot of pleasure having completed my first novel and I hope that each one I write will bring pleasure to those that read them.

Smashwords is awesome! It allowed me to create without having to go through the headaches of sending in manuscripts and having rejections and of course, it costs basically nothing. I don't think I could have done it without Smashwords.

Being able to share my work with others that will appreciate it. It's such a wonderful feeling when you've sold your first book no matter how many you may or may not sell. That first sale meant the world to me.

The very first non-published one I wrote was in high school. It was such fun! My first published was here through Smashwords.

I start by picking what I want the story to reflect. From there I think of where it will take place and then the character names. I write notes, lots of notes and work on the story line bit by bit. There are times I start writing and I go on for hours and other times only write a few words. I have 3 stories on the go right now.

I love my Kobo Arc! It's amazing! It's an e-reader and a smaller version of a tablet. It's got light, it displays in color.
