How do you approach cover design?
It's a cartoon hand drawn image on Microsoft Paint, of the angle Maroni, the same angle that is on top of the Mormon Temple in Salt Lake City. It is said and believed by Mormons that Maroni will blow his horn as the end of the world is approaching. What do you think?
What are your five favorite books, and why?
The next one that I am working on.
What do you read for pleasure?
The news on the internet. Yahoo ect.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
The one that is in front of me.
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
This is my first book, and all that I have attempted so far is the Facebook method.
Describe your desk
"The Bar Rules" took over three years to complete. I wrote it on my laptop at multiple public library locations, DVC, coffee shops, and Airports.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I was borne in a Catholic Hospital (Holly Cross Hospital) in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. GOSH! haven't you read my bio?
When did you first start writing?
When I was 15 I wrote my first broadcasted radio commercial. I wrote a short story in Jr. High that was about a hunting party sent to another planet to hunt aliens.
What's the story behind your latest book?
It just happened, kind of like GOD!.. INSPIRED! .. Desperate people do strange things, especially when they are heavy drinking politicians.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I want to say something clever like, "It seemed like the thing to do because I was so talented and in style".. But that did not happen. I had this book and no money. So, I just did it!
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
This is a great place to, "get your feet wet" in the world of writing. Success is all relative to the position you are in, and I committed 100% to this book and this story. I know that this book will be a success!
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Entertaining the public.
What do your fans mean to you?
Fans.. Plug them in and stay cool!
What are you working on next?
That is a secret but It will be about a social issue.
Who are your favorite authors?
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Action leads to results.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Staying out of trouble!
