What motivated you to become an indie author?
Ever since I was a child me and my brother often wrote short stories set in mythical lands as we both loved the hobbit and the lord of the rings since we were about five or six
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
smashswords has been a great help at distributing my book to a vast range of different companies and giving me great advice on publishing my book
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I love getting immersed in the characters I've written. getting to know them and there backstory makes them feel like reel people and it gets me excited.
What do your fans mean to you?
I am incredibly grateful for my fans known as exceptioners. to think there is a number of people out there reading my book maybe even right now is a great feeling.
What are you working on next?
i am working on some short stories that take place in the same universe as The god's exception and even on the second book in the series which is getting very exciting.
Who are your favorite authors?
George RR Martin, JK Rowling, and of course Tolkien
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
I know that when I get out of bed i can prepare myself for the days writing and because my books are co written with my brother sometimes he has to ring e to make sure I'm awake before we start.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I often go for walks with my dogs in the country reserve by my house. This can give me much inspiration for my writing. I also play tennis sometimes and also play video games.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
The very first story I ever wrote I can't but from an early age I wrote many fantasy books and lots of doctor who ones too.
What is your writing process?
i just sit down in the morning with a nice cup of hot chocolate after watching the news and get to work as I really enjoy writing.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
the first proper story I read was the hobbit.
