Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
My Father was in the military, so we moved around a lot. I tell people I did not grow up in any particular place. I think this has allowed me to see many perspectives and this has helped my writing immensely. My book makes a few references to how one should see things from as many different perspectives as possible and this ethos has helped me in many patient interactions over the years.
When did you first start writing?
I started writing down interesting experiences about fifteen years ago. These collections of pieces of paper grew to become a small scrapbook. I only started writing officially about a year ago, when I decided that I should do something with the scrapbook, otherwise it would just gather dust.
