Interview with Tootie-Do Press
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Dreams! Books! Tootie needs to potty!
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Thinking about how I should be writing . . .
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
The internet, where else!
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Of course! The final result is a story called "Off-key." It appeared originally at Jerry Jazz Musician and won a New Short Fiction award there!
What is your writing process?
Seat of the pants. Write to discover the story. Write or die!
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
I don't recall the very first one, but I do recall being dazzled by Little Golden Books.
How do you approach cover design?
At Tootie-Do Press, we love Clarissa Yeo at Yocla Designs.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
That's not a fair question. Who in their right mind only has five favorite books?
What do you read for pleasure?
If it's not pleasurable, I don't read it . . . that said, at Tootie-Do Press we read widely in many different genres.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I have a Kindle. I'm also known to read via Kindle for Computer and on Adobe Digital Editions.
