What's the story behind your latest book?
Half Term report: Jake has recently shown more signs of ageing than a six week school holiday would normally generate. On his return from the long break he has shown remarkable new knowledge of astronomy,alchemy and gravitic propulsion In respect to his vanishing from a school trip while visiting the Cerne Nuclear Facility Jake is taciturn. He says he travelled widely.Jake still plays cricket and rugby and apparently now has plenty of money (after reportedly being up to his ears in debt.....)
What motivated you to become an indie author?
Wanted to get rich

Reading my own copy

An entire gamut.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Going to the toilet.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Worrying
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I dont read any ebooks.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
No.
What is your writing process?
No idea. I sit down and look at the screen. The copy occurs as I look at the keyboard to start typing.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
So long ago. Maybe it was Genesis which I found...confusing.
How do you approach cover design?
I steal something.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
My own books (now a total of seven.)
What do you read for pleasure?
I get free books from a local op shop. Apparently some authors actually make money so I am always interested in looking for clues on how to do that......
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I havent got one,
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
I havent used any.

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
In a small mining town in England. Byron (most of him) is buried in the church. Maybe he has gone on to sci fi and he's writing this stuff?

Why not? I feel for Jake X, trying to clear a debt and getting into very cold water...
