Who are your favorite authors?
My favorite author has got to be Cassandra Clare. She has the best stories in my opinion.
What do you read for pleasure?
All kinds of different books. Anywhere from vampires and werewolves to Shakespeare. I love reading. Too much.
Describe your desk
Clean but no room. My desk is small and computer is huge.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in a small farm house in the boondocks of Virginia. It gave me a feel that, even though I lived in a small town, I could do anything I set my mind to. So at the whopping age of eighteen months I started reading. At five my imagination went wild and I started writing stories. After that I just let fate take it's path.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
My five favorite books are all part of a series. City of Bones, City of Ashes, City of Glass, City of Fallen Angels and City of Lost Souls. I had just always thought these books were the most inspiring and beautiful books ever written.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
On the computer, trying to find something inspiring on Facebook.
