Dystopian or fantasy. I don't like realistic fiction. Why would you want to read about a life that could probably turn out to be your own?
What are your three favorite books, and why?
Magyk, by Angie Sage. This book is a mix of Harry Potter and A to Z Mysteries. there is magyk and young main characters but they're so sophisticated they could be 14.
The Harry Potter Series, By J.K. Rowlings. This is the bible to fantasy. If you want inspiration, just pick up a Harry Potter book. I'm not obsessed with the series like some, but I do like it a lot.
The Divergent Trilogy, by Veronica Roth. She gets into Tris' mind and reveals her pain, love and glee. This is the Bible to dystopia. It's a book of discovering who you are, embracing it and taking risks. Major risks.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
Kindle Fire. If I want to take my eyes off the book, then I can pull up Netflix, YouTube and Mine Craft but won't get distracted by selfies or pictures.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I love spilling my guts. Just writing and writing until I'm empty. I want to become a great author, but I must start small.
What is your writing process?
I don't put pen to paper until I'm so full of ideas I can't hold them in. I tell my dad about them, describe in full detail, look on(in all places) a baby naming website for names that I like.
