What is your writing process?
For me, there is always competing priorities and more things that need to be completed than there is time in the day. So, it's imperative that I intentionally set aside time to write, and have a "penalty" if I don't keep my promise to myself of writing daily. When I do write, I believe it's important to just get the ideas down on paper and worry about editing later. "15 Rules" went through a number of changes before Janet and I were satisfied with the final version.
What was your inspiration for 15 Rules?
Whether it's family or friends, so many seem to be struggling with relationships; yet, it seems to come easy to us. Many of these same people often ask us our secret. One day, we decided to write these down and "15 Rules" was born.
