Linda Beed


Dr. Linda is an award-winning and multi-published author of inspirational fiction. Her works include the award-winning novel, Business Unusual and Flavorful, her contribution to the 2011 award-nominated anthology--Home Again: Stories of Restored Relationships. She has been a co-coordinator, featured speaker and workshop presenter at literary events across the country.

Linda is a Doctor of Religious Education and a veteran children's minister who has been described as 'one born with a story in her mouth'. She presents those stories via the written, spoken and visual arts. Her love for crafts and doll-making are tools used to enhance storytelling for the young and old.

She has a profound interest in the research and teaching of African American history and is a member of the National Council of Negro Women and Professional Women of Color.
