Biography

Ms. Uddin, founder of 3-Queens Publications is a highly sought speaker/panelist on women’s issues, and during March-Month of the Woman. Former faculty with Madonna University, Marygrove College, and was the in-resident poet with Oak Park Public Library where she facilitated the Poetry & Beyond Writing Workshops for over six years; many of her students have become published. Moyna Uddin is a Wayne State University alumna.

In 2005, the groundbreaking book by Moyna Uddin was released after many years researching true stories of circumcised women and their husbands before the first conviction of Female Genital Mutilation in Georgia 2006, and a current pending case in Michigan 2017.
