Carmen White is a singer, a bass player, a cook, and a dedicated mediator since 2009. She is the founder and principal mediator of Metta Mediation. A bay area resident since 1992, she has been in several bands, including Nebuchadnezzer and Cypher in the Snow. All along the way she has found herself in an amazing array of creative projects from dance to performance art, starting at the Luna Sea Women's Performance Project and Red Dora's Bearded Lady Cafe. Most recently, Carmen performed in the musical A Roof Over My Head, written by Alison Wright and Tommi Avicolli Mecca. She is thrilled to take on the title role in King Lear in 2019.
