How do you approach cover design?
Personally, I like illustrated covers better. I think they have more personality! Covers that really catch my eye are usually what I gravitate towards when looking for a good read, so of course that is what I look for in my own book covers.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
Oh that's a hard one! I honestly love so many books it would be difficult to narrow it down to only five. I love classics like To Kill A Mockingbird, Pride and Prejudice, etc. Also I am a HUGE fan of fantasy, especially fantasy series.
The land of Watreon is dying, it's people scared and angry as they learn what their kings quest for power has done to them. Their only hope lies with five teenage girls, born into a life they didn't choose with powers they never desired to posses. Will they triumph over the greatest evil their land has ever known, or will the burden of their destiny overwhelm them?
Betrayal by one of their own cuts deep as Victoria, Alexandra, Lillian and Evangeline must learn to move on without Ryhan. Cleaning up the mess left by the giants isn’t their only challenge. They are faced with the reality that Axiom is far more prepared and willing to kill them, and anyone who stands in his way. An Army is coming for them, will they be too late to save those they love the most?
A shooting sapphire star blazed across the night sky as five girls were born, part of a prophecy that would someday save the land of Watreon from an evil king. Follow Ryhan, Evangeline, Alexandra, Lillian and Victoria as they face the challenge of learning and controlling their powers, experiencing love and heartbreak, and figure out that having a destiny isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
