I started writing fanfiction a couple of years ago as mrstrentreznor. I thought it was a wonderful concept to take existing characters and flesh them out a little more. Or to write the scenes that didn’t get filmed or written in the original work. I have given away more than a million words on fanfic; but I discovered that I had a million more in my head. And they were my words, my characters and my stories.
I am an overeducated Australian single mother. I feel I should be witty and informative about how many children and household pets I have, but really the chickens lay eggs and I am yet to see what use the teenagers are.
I also read a lot and play my music loud... really loud.
A descendant of a medieval paladin gets approached in an alley by a talking horse. It’s Christmas time and he’s drunk, so he doesn’t take it seriously. But he ends up being dragged across Ireland on a magical quest to find a sword; a sword that is needed by a fairy princess.
A very precise, very orderly author has the worst case of writer's block. He is working on book five in his series and the submission date is fast approaching but the words are just not there when he needs them. He attempts to fix it using every possible method he knows.
