Shadows on the Trail by Paul Price was a fascinating story about one family and their experiences in saving dogs. The book presents a new perspective of dog breeders who are only raising dogs for the money without caring about the quality of the pups or their care. The author's love of dogs is very apparent throughout book as he shows why people desiring a dog should always adopt a dog from their local pound. I completely enjoyed this book and could not put it down until the last word. -Ann Robinson-
