I live in "backwoods" Oregon and am a single mother of one 18 y/o daughter. "Love" is my passion - love of God, family, friends and of course, romantic love. Within the last couple years I have gained a deep respect and love for the LGBT community - not because of any personal changes or revelations within my own life, but simply a change of heart. My literary passion is writing gay erotic romance, drawing out the depth of love and devotion that is as present in same-sex couples as in straight couples. I believe all love is beautiful and cherished by God. I grew up in a conservative Christian home and for many years believed it was wrong to be gay, though I never harbored hateful feelings for the gay community or the individuals. But I have since seen the light and from my very first gay romance novella, I was hooked on the love of my boys in my stories. I don't write for mere "entertainment" but wish to convey a message to both those who hate on the gay community as well as those who can't accept themselves for who they are and feel that they don't belong or that God hates them. It breaks my heart to see gay kids suffer from bullying, misguided religious beliefs, and a discriminating society - all of which have caused many to resort to suicide as the lesser evil. If my stories can help even just one life, it will have been worth my time.
