This is a very good short fiction story. I like the way story started with mystery, what April is doing in the forest at middle of the night and explain later why she is there & what led her to the forest. I like the way mysterious creatures explained in the story. It is different then werewolf stories. Only thing is the end of the story is not what I was expecting, I wish author publish sequel to the story.

Man and Wife is great crime thriller. This short story is well plotted. Author has explained nicely how innocent lady can become cold blooded killer when abused by husband.
