This story was a thrill to read. It is satisfyingly nontraditional, and creatively avoids plot cliches. The thriller genre can often rely too heavily on shock at the expense of good writing, but this story is both smart and engaging. Pasch is a great writer with unique stories to tell, I hope this will be the first of many for him.
