Although I write romance, my stories are not of the erotic, or erotica vein, but are more of what I believe to have an element of the old classics to them, with an interracial flavour, although not solely in that field alone. I also like to include a bit of adventure and sci-fi and fantasy in some of my stories to mix up the tension within the storyline.
I came to this writing gig late in life. I have always being a bibliophile, loving all genres of writings but never thought to put pen to paper and pen a story. I supposed I should have known that I would become a writer as whenever I read a story; I always found that I would imagine where the story would go from where the author left off.
In my past life, I worked for the British civil service for a number of years, before deciding to make a career change. Right now, not only am I busy writing, but I have a number of irons in the fire. When I am not writing, or walking my Staffordshire bull terrier; who thinks that she is in charge of the house, I can be found learning something new to broaden my horizon.

When You Come to Me

A beautiful coming of age piece.I love how the H/H were allowed to grow and find themselves, as well as each other. The whole story was very realistic in its portrayal of the lives of both H/H. The ending implys that there is a second part to this story. If there is another one, I cannot wait to read it.
No Prison For Love

This is a beautifully written short story that makes me want to read the other works by this author.

I absolutely love this story and have lived by its moral.

Although an exellent read, one thing I have against the story is the fact that almost 95% of the book has Mitchell thinking about Delanie in an extremely negative light. Yet almost ten pages from the end, he has a turn around in his views and she forgives him without calling him out on his behaviour, except for the fact that she wanted him to trust her.
I did not feel that he was truely sorry about how he had treated her. To me, he was more concerned in being in the life of his child, rather than truely treating Delanie with the love and respect that is due her.
I felt that the ending was very rushed as so many negative actions of Mitchell was totally overlooked and not address. This then made Delaine looked like a pushover in the relationship department. Even though she is shown as a strong person who can get others to do what she wants.

A really lovely heart warming short read, with enough twists and turns to keep you reading.
A Vampire's Christmas Carol

Although I was able to predict how the story would end, it was still an enjoyable read, even if it lacked a bit of suspense.
The Vampires Mistress - Vamp Romance

Very disappointing read. All through the book I was wondering if it was written by a teenager as the structure of the writing was so poor. Upon reaching the last chapter of the book, I was extremely disappointed as there was no last chapter. The book just ends in the middle with no indication of a sequel.
Across The Divide

The premise of this story is great. Unfortunately, the structure and tone it read as though a teenager who did not finish formal education wrote it. I mean how many ways can one spell the word soldier. I counted three different ways in this book. Never mind the other grammatical errors that made reading what is a good read in the making difficult and sometimes irritating.
The author should utilise the spell check and grammar facility on her pc, if she wants to be a publisher.
