Alan Hick

Alan Hick was born in Teesside, studied in Norwich and Florence and has worked most of his life in Brussels. He is a hopeless romantic and an incorrigible believer in European Union, in a Europe that should listen, pool resources and leverage the means to make a positive difference. He also likes draft Guinness and once performed at the Albert Hall, folk-dancing for the English Counties! But that's another story. Or is it? This curious mix is the back-drop to his first novel, What goes around comes around - a fictional journey of nostalgia and renewal, pitching a past love story with a present-day crisis. Humorous and engaging, he gives a totally new take on the Europe debate.
