Alex Williams lives in Southern Oregon with his wife, Kalinda, and his four, rapidly growing boys; Kellen, Kyan, Jensen, and Ethan. Besides being a family man, Alex spends the majority of his time writing novels and screenplays, making movies, reading, or playing video games. His favorite authors include Stephen King, R.L. Stine, James Patterson and J.K. Rowling.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Writing is the most untouched form of creativity. As a filmmaker who makes movies with tons of other people helping out and putting in their own two cents (a very welcomed two cents), it's nice to be able to get a story out that is completely unhindered by outside forces. I love knowing that the reader's imagination is the only limitation.
What are you working on next?
I am consistently working on the Queen Anne books. Always advancing the story and what happens to Jacob Harrison and his friends. Outside of the Queen Anne series, I keep working, slowly, on screenplays and other forms of creativity.
Jacob Harrison seems to be the only one who notices all the strange things going on in his neighborhood. So when it seems like his next door neighbor just might be from another planet and bent on terrorizing Jacob, he does all he can to prove it to his parents and his closest friends.
