Alexa Bigwarfe is a freelance writer and author. She co-authored Lose the Cape: Realities from Busy Modern Moms and Strategies to Survive and edited/contributed to the book Sunshine After the Storm: A Survival Guide for the Grieving Mother. She launched her writing with the blog No Holding Back as an outlet for her grief after the loss of one of her twin daughters to Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome (TTTS). She now writes largely about advocacy, maternal, infant, and children’s health topics. Alexa is a wife, mother of three, dog owner, and advocate.
