Biography

Alice Marks: Retired early childhood educator. Married for 50 years with four adult children and six grandchildren. Recent resident of Duluth, Minnesota, the second coldest city in the USA, which affords lots of time for writing. Has published short stories and poetry in magazines and anthologies including Chicken Soup for the Soul. Wrote the life story of a 105-year-old Texas woman, whose family published the memoir. Has written several comedic Biblical plays, which have been used by Readers’ Theatres in several states. Has led a writers group In Texas, currently forming one in Duluth and teaches creative writing classes for emerging writers. Has a drawerful of novels waiting publication.
