Alisha Nocks is a Beloit, Wisconsin native, currently living in BobRosstown, USA. She moved to BobRosstown, USA to pursue a culinary arts degree. When that plan blew up in her face, she made a decision that she would return to her first love of writing and one day write a book, recounting her misadventures in dream chasing. After all of her dreaming, she now adds doing to the list. When Alisha is not writing or cranking out custom cakes and baked goods for her business, Suga' Puddin' Bake Shop, she enjoys being married, and raising two blessings that are her children.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
I don't remember the first story I ever wrote. However, the first story I recall writing was about being seated at a booth next to the drive through at a Burger King with a group of friends eating a donut. My crush drove passed the window to use the drive-thru, looked in and waved. I took that donut and chucked it under the table. My friends were cracking up. I still had like half a donut left. Ooh I regretted throwing that donut on the floor.
What is your writing process?
Crazy. My process is crazy. I often get inspired by a song title, hashtag or catch phrase and make that a title or theme and write as much as I can until I veer off topic (as I tend to do).
