Alvin Avalon is a writer specializing in the eclectic and often bizarre world of New Age beliefs, particularly those with a sexual dimension. When living in London in the 1990s he studied Zen Buddhism and Theosophy, and later went on to study Shiatsu and holistic massage therapy in Bristol. He now lives near the mystical town of Glastonbury in Somerset. While he has written New Age erotic fiction in the past, Secrets of Mystical Sex is his first non-fiction work.
