UK author Amanda Wills was born in Singapore and grew up in the Kent countryside surrounded by a menagerie of animals including four horses, three cats, a dog and numerous sheep, rabbits and chickens.
She worked as a journalist for more than 20 years and is now a police press officer.
Three years ago Amanda combined her love of writing with her passion for horses and began writing pony fiction. Her first novel, The Lost Pony of Riverdale, was published in 2013. The sequel, Against all Hope, followed in the summer of 2014 and the third in the series, Into the Storm, was published in January 2015.
The Lost Pony of Riverdale is currently being translated into Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish.
