Andrea Mai's world has been split with a duality of Northern and Southern culture. She grew up on the Canadian border dreading hockey and curling shows on the Canadian TV stations - but she loved the British influences and watched entirely too many episodes of EastEnders!
She moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 1996 with a passion for writing songs. That faded out but the writing she'd been doing her whole life took a different turn and moved into fiction. Learning about her craft took a long time but it was a beautiful adventure with a few side trips into other obsessions.
A lifelong autodidactic learner, she checks out entirely too many non-fiction books and wishes she had a little more time to enjoy great fiction.
She still craves the snow but loves daffodils in March.
She still makes lefse and eats pickled herring at Christmas.
She hasn't watched EastEnders in years but she just found out she can get the show online. Things are looking up!
A lighthearted mystery about archaeologist Calypso Jones. When she and her coworkers are suspected of the theft of a van-load of artifacts, she knows what the thief is after and she knows the harm that will come if the artifact is used. Can she find the thief, prove her own innocence and save a life in the process?
