Andrea Rendon

Biography

Andrea holds degrees in Art, and Psychology and lives in Ft. worth, Texas. Shei s retired from the chemical processing industry to pursue her real love, writing and books.

Currently, she is producing a 4 part family saga. While the series begin in Switzerland, much of the story later occurs in Central Texas in Hill Country. Currently Strings - Garden of the Gods, and Strings-Atonement are published. The 3rd book, Strings- Common Ground is in production.

Strings strikes close to home and has been a pleasure for her to write. Music, Texas Ranching, and a World War II debt of conscience come together to form an 80 year saga of moral conflict, personal debt, loss, and triumph over historical and personal odds. The family must confront the mistakes and evils in the past while building a legacy that will live long after they are gone.

Building this family of complex characters and resolving their individual challenges has been a singular pleasure for Andrea to write, and hopefully to read. Andrea's family immigrated from Switzerland to America in 1711 and the family held on to their heritage over the centuries. Andrea has returned to Switzerland several times to visited Kyburgh, the tiny village the family came from.
