Andrés Villa is a writer who was born in Panama City, Panama, and joined the world of letters as a journalist and professional photographer. He is a graduate of the Technological University of Panama’s Literary Writing Course, and his repertoire includes brief histories, such as Perdedores, and exciting historical and socially relevant novels, that include: La Nueve, Correoso Arrabal Ardiente, 9 de Enero - la novela. With the success of Crónica 100 Años del Canal de Panamá, he has become a full-time writer.
