Andrew Critchell

Born in Kent, England, in 1974, I have always been in love with the landscape and nature and, since I was a teenager, always harbored a secret desire to be a writer (although my professional career has spanned spells in finance, environmental campaigning, and professional photography!). I began writing “The Dark Rider” at the age of fourteen, the first scenes coming out in one go in the half-light of a long summer’s evening. These are scenes which, with a little editing in the intervening period, still make up the bulk of Chapter One. However, the rest took a little bit more time and it was only a couple of years ago when I realized that, if I didn’t actually sit down and write the book, it would not happen. “The Dark Rider” is the result.
