Smashwords Interview

What's the story behind your latest book?
I was watching a program about quantum physics and they were explaining string theory. I had to re-watch it several times to really get the idea and then I started wondering what if...
I played with that brain toy for about a month before I created the world of dying magic that I set Inherited Magic in. After that it was a question of finding a main character that I liked and that would mature enough to go the places I thought readers would enjoy in that world.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I have always wanted to be a writer and I don't think that people have to pay a fortune for ideas and stories. I went this route because while I will never get rich I will get my ideas and stories out there. It is also important t me that I am the one in control of what happens to my stories and the worlds I set them in.
