i recieved this book in exchange for an honest review. I really really enjoyed this book. This is the first book i have read by this author and i will definately be looking to read more of her work. Her writing is extremely imaginative but real at the same time making it a very enjoyable and compelling read. The charachters in this book are brilliant, i loved Sarain!! People who read my reviews know how much i love the strong female charachter and she is definately this! With most strong charachters she has inner vulnerability that she tries to hide away and push to the back of her mind. She has been through so much and has come out of the other side - a good lesson for us all. Winston - i loved his charachter so must, i wont say too much as i dont want any spoilers but i loved how his charachter developed throughout the book, there is something about the way this charachter has been written that you want to read more about him, to know him more. The last 4 chapters there are so many twists and turns, it brought out so many emotions for me, especially one scene. This is a must read if you love urban fantasy with a different spin to it Loved it!!!
