What is your writing process?
My writing process is actually rather basic i write what i feel passionate about and just go to town with my first drafts. My first drafts are always hot messes wild, unkempt and all over the place but that's alright because it serves the purpose of getting the story out of my head and into a concrete form.
Then it's revision, revision and more revision! Tightening, removing pieces and honing the book until it's good and ready for public consumption.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
It sounds trite but i believe the Harry Potter novels being some of the first literature i had the pleasure reading myself greatly defined not only my childhood sensibilities but imbued me with the irresistible need to conjure my own stories. I read countless books of quality after my initial exposure, but it was The Philosophers Stone, The Chamber of Secrets and most importantly The Prisoner of Azkaban that resonated most profoundly with me.
