Anne Copeland, a native Southerner, graduated from the University of Alabama and went on to teach Biology and Adult Education. Writing has always been a passion, so she channeled her creativity through writing, producing and directing puppet shows, short stories and a series of children’s books about three earthworm brothers, “Joda, Gub and Zeebee”.
Anne lives in central Florida with her husband Jack and loyal Welsh Terrier, Gwyneth. Daughter Amy and husband live nearby.
As a victim's advocate, Kate Gil works with the Hayesville Police Department to help those overlooked and forgotten victims of violent crimes. She uses resources available from the various private and governmental agencies to help them readjust to normal lives. Her personal compassion and involvement in their grief often leads to long workdays and sleepless nights.
