Anne Seaworthy grew up in a quaint little beachside town called Santa Monica. She has been writing since she was old enough to hold a pencil. When she's not writing, she enjoys passing the time with her cat, Artemis, doing nail art, and baking.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up minutes from the beach, and in my Junior year of high school I took a very influential class in marine biology. As a result, I think the ocean has found its way into my books - as a character, as a setting, as a driver of plot and emotion... much as it acts as a major force in the real world.
Who are your favorite authors?
I grew up surrounded by books by Roald Dahl and Eva Ibbotson. At a young age, these authors kindled my sense of wonder and curiosity about the world.
