Annie Daylon


Annie Daylon was born and raised in Newfoundland, Canada. She studied music at New Brunswick’s Mount Allison University and education at both the University of Manitoba and the University of British Columbia (M.Ed.). After thirty years of teaching, she decided to pursue her passion for writing.
Annie has written two novels and forty short stories. Her work has appeared in Alberta’s Freefall literary magazine, Ontario’s Wynterblue anthologies, Newfoundland’s Downhome magazine and in Maine’s Writers Weekly.Annie’s first novel, Maggie of the Marshes is available on Amazon Kindle. Her second novel, Castles in the Sand, is the mainstream genre winner of the 2012 Houston Writers Guild novel contest.
Annie lives in the British Columbia Fraser Valley, with her husband David, and their dog, CoCo.
