Anwer Ghani


Anwer Ghani is an Iraqi poet and writer. He was born in 1973 in Alhilla city. His name had appeared in Adelaide, Zarf, Peacock, Otoliths, Algebra of Owls, and others. And also had appeared in Inner Child Press anthology "The Year Of The Poet". Anwer Ghani is the chief editor of "Tajdeed" literary magazine. He had, in Arabic, forty books in literature and religious sciences. Here is his website;
Anwer Ghan is the chief representative of the World Nations Writers Union (WNWU) in Iraq, the member in international writers association (IWA), and the establisher of "Tajdeed Literary Institute (TLI)" and the annual "Tajdeed" Prize for expressive narrative.

What do you read for pleasure?
In fact I find the pleasure in all the type of readings, the scientific and the literary, but I have, in literary reading, a regular reading and an intermittent readings. The regular is for the "Expressive Narrative Group" poets, which is a facebook group and has tow divisions; the Arabic one, the oldest and the new, the English one.In the intermittent reading, I read for the American and British poetry journal, especially those journals which had published my poetry.
What's the story behind your latest book?
In fact I had published more than 40 books in Arabic, but " The Narratolyric Writing" is my debut publishing in English, and it is the abstract of four volume of my Arabic book in this subject, and I will explain its condensed content in more detailed books.
