Apolonia Plum was born in Minsk, Belarus. She grew up surrounded by nature and animals. She believes animals to be great teachers. Her characters are drawn from some of her real life acquaintances, and their adventures are filled with fun, new experiences and life lessons. They are not very serious lessons, but important ones: about friendship, discovery, and life in general.
She now lives in New York City, where she raises two kids and architects software solutions for living.

When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I have a very fun full time job in software development, a husband, two rambunctious children and a throng of amazing friends. I am never bored. We are always on one adventure or another: hiking, camping, dancing, cooking, singing, painting, swimming... In short, we are constantly in motion, making a lot of noise, and laughing.
Meows is a little lonely. He is roaming the woods in search of something to do. He decides to practice his cat skills. Meows is rather skilled at sneaking and climbing. However, jumping from tree branches proves scarier than he thought.
How will Meows solve this problem?
Meows loves making friends, learning things and helping others. In this story, he befriends some unlikely creatures, performs another clever rescue and learns how to race in a swamp. A swamp is a dangerous place, and the competition is fierce.
Can he win?
Meows is a curious black kitten. He is a problem solver, and loves adventures. In this story, Meows sets out on a quest to see the ugliest fattest toad in a nearby swamp. On the way, he meets a tiny green frog. The frog is in great trouble.
