Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Niagara-On-The_Lake in Ontario Canada. I grew up in a rural farming community and was exposed to country living, farming practices, gardening and animals. I cared for horses as my first job and the horses in my story come from memories in my heart.
When did you first start writing?
I began as a teenager, but I never wrote a long story or novel length book until I reached my 40s.
