Local action sport athlete and short story writer.
I'm writing for people like me, on the run, with little time to spare.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
From my own country it's called "Engima Otiliei" from George Calinescu. Old book that I love to hate. A young man struggles with a new enviroment and a fickle love. Everybody lacks backbone and I hate every character with a passion. I enjoy it because I can see myself on the sideline laughing at the idiots.
I enjoy "Ender's Game" for the subterfuge and ruthlessness. Not a fan of the whole series.
Metro 2033 by Dmitrii Gluhovskii. Dark, Modern, communist vibe and a tale about mistakes. Feels like home.
For the last two I'm going to switch mediums. Because these tales actually had real life implications for me and led to my demise.
Mass Effect. A videogame with such a deep lore and expansive universe that you could tell stories for days. The thousands of people crying across the world can't all be wrong.
Max Payne. Simple noir detective story. Perfectly executed. Narative blew away my young mind.
What do you read for pleasure?
Comic Books with more manga for a cohesive single narative, not the multiverse "sell more copies" plotholes.
Welcome to 1870 Bucharest. A father copes with the loss of his daughter. A scientist tries to break the laws of nature and a scholar proposes to his loved one. At the center of it all, is an enigmatic woman named Annabelle Blake.
In Act I: The Hunter, discover the New Capital City and follow detective Cristina Iordache as she tries to recover the things stolen from her.
