Smashwords Interview

How do you approach cover design?
I usually have a scene from the book in mind. I then search my photographs and photoedit one or more to make the cover. If I can't find one of my own I will look for one in the public domain on the net.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
That's a difficult question. I would put Wuthering Heights in there as it is the greatest love story ever told, in my opinion. I love the Dragonlance saga by Weis and Hickman. Great fantasy. Of course, A Song of Ice and Fire and The Wheel of Time. (R.R.Martin and Robert Jordan respectively.) finally Frank Herbert"s Dune books. Can I add another? Anne McCaffrey's Pern books.
