William Burgdorf

Biography

William Burgdorf leverages a lifetime of experiences into his stories accumulated from being born along the mighty Ohio River in southern Indiana, raised in the wide, wild desert vistas of Arizona, having lived in lake-strewn Michigan, as well as the hills and hollows of Tennessee, and now in his piney woods home in East Texas. His love of, and a double major in, history along with his successful career as an adult educator prepared him to become a masterful storyteller of historical fiction. His careful attention to exacting details, colorful and memorable characters, descriptive locales, and articulate dialogue weave together stories that engage and enthrall.
My goal is to provide a story that captures your imagination and is remembered. At the end of the day, I desire to be regarded as a good storyteller.
