Donna’s philosophy has always been that life is too interesting to confine yourself to just one genre. Poetry was her first love and continues to be her passion, but she also writes non-fiction books and articles that are focused on educating and helping others.
Novels are a more recent interest, an outlet for both her imagination and her sense of humor. If you think murder can’t be funny, you need to read her books. They reflect Donna’s other philosophy – that life is too short to be taken seriously!
Her passion and the underlying desire in everything she does is to make the world a better place.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
What? I'm supposed to stop writing now and then?! But seriously... when I'm not writing I love to work on crafts like sewing or knitting. Currently, I'm knitting baby hats for the campaign, "Period of Purple Crying", to help bring awareness to the issue of shaken baby deaths. I also like to whittle and garden - neither of which I'm very good at but that's ok. It's fun!
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I confess, I'm a bargain hunter. I subscribed to Book Bub and get a daily email from them with free or low-cost books. I tend to go for the free ones because I'm a hard person to please when it comes to novels. Maybe that's why I wrote two of my own! ;-)
When I made the decision to get dentures, I searched for information online. What I never found, was a book like this one. A personal story, from the perspective of someone who went through the process. This is the story of my year-long journey, and an explanation of the stages I went through. I offer it to you, in the hopes that it will help with your own “Denture Adventure.”
Ever had days when it hurts to chew? This book tells you how to prepare easy meals and snacks that go beyond the usual soft foods to include such taste-tempting delights as “Shrimp Scampi” and “Chicken Enchiladas”. There is a delicious selection of smoothies, made with protein powder. I’ve also included a section on desserts; because “you Got to have dessert!” It’s food to heal you, body and soul.
