Ava Burquette has published short stories in the fantasy, sci-fi, and horror genres under the name of her respectable alter-ego, who wishes to remain anonymous. When she isn't writing, she plays repetitive but addictive games on her phone, argues politics on-line with strangers, and analyzes the effectiveness of television commercials. Ava lives with in Pennsylvania with her very patient partner of fourteen years.
