He holds degrees from Western Michigan University and Wayne State University and has several newspaper and magazine credits as editor, publisher and writer. He authored his first book, Master Betrayal: The Conspiracy to Kill Jane Bashara in 2017. Other interests include sailing, wine, travel and music. He resides in Michigan with his wife and Callie, a cantankerous Shiba Inu.
